Information gathering phase

To be able to help you, we will need to talk in depth by way of a case taking session, after which I will help you to understand why you experience gut symptoms and support you in identifying potential triggers.

 

I may recommend private testing in order to get to the root of your issues and provide a more targeted approach.  This will be via a private lab offering functional testing such as Genova Diagnostics who offer the GI Effects stool profile.

 

Gut healing phase

There are a range of different diet-based approaches to consider depending upon your particular issues and the origins of your symptoms.  Your plan will include tailored dietary and lifestyle advice to help get your symptoms under control, and back to feeling yourself. This might include, removing trigger foods, eating key healing foods, supplement and herbal recommendations, specific forms of exercise and stress reducing activities.

 

Reintroduction and review

Working on gut health can involve experimentation and fine tuning plus patience.  I’ll work with you as you reintroduce restricted foods (if applicable) and provide comprehensive practical suggestions, with the ultimate aim of improving your gut health.
