Tasty Apple Slaw

Apple, cabbage and carrot slaw
Apple Slaw

Make the most of our seasonal apples by adding them to a vibrant and tasty slaw.


Ingredients

1 medium apple, grated

1/4 red cabbage, grated

1 large carrot, grated

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 handful of pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp virgin olive oil

3 tbsp of apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp wholegrain mustard

Sprinkle of chili flakes (optional)


Method

  • Grate the apple, cabbage and carrot

  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly

  • If you have time, leave the slaw for 30 minutes to settle so that the flavours can develop.

  • Serve as the vegetable portion of your meal or add as a side dish.

  • Enjoy!
